Isle of Wight Update....(from Mr Bird via text!)

Monday - We arrvied safely. Children were brilliant with no sickness. They only asked 3,000 times if we were there yet. They are now getting the site tour and excitement levels are rising!!

Tuesday - As you can imagine the day started very early with everyone eager to get on. It was great to see all the smiling faces and hear the various tales about how their sleepover went.

Weather is fantastic, food is being enthusiastically eaten and activities are spot on.

Caving, climbing, quads, creating a computer game and a very messy activity have been enjoyed by everyone today, so we are sure they will fall asleep much sooner tonight!!

All the children are very happy and are thrilled by their successes so far.

We will tell you more tomorrow. Bye from all on the Isle of Wight.

Wednesday - Still good weather. Sun cream being used. Slept well and had to be woken up today. Abseiling, assault course, team challenge and crime investigation. Having excellent time.

Thursday - I spoke to Mr Bird this morning and he was telling me how great the children had been. A credit to themselves and the school.

I managed to catch him over breakfast, and there was a lovely buzz in the background. I could picture the children all excited about the day ahead.

Anyway, here is the update from the Isle of Wight....

Lots of sun, lots of activities!!

During night line the children managed to find the muddiest puddle ever, Joe Mcfarquhar wore white! Aeroball, zipwire, disco tonight followed by the packing game.

Friday - Speaking to Mr Bird this evening (Thursday) he told me that they have activities in the morning and then will be packing up and heading home.

Mr Bird also said that he will let me know how the journey home is going and then I can then add that to here.

Will update more tomorrow......

Friday update..... Just heard from Mr Bird and he said that the coach will be back at the school for around 6pm. Any changes to that will be text to you.

Hope this blog entry has been helpful this week and I am sure you will hear all about their fantastic trip over the weekend.
